Information & Prices

Our opening times are 10am – 1pm and 4pm – 6pm, 7 days a week.
Out with these times appointments may be possible by strict appointment only.

All cats must be fully vaccinated for feline enteritis and cat flu to stay in the cattery.

Before confirming your booking we require to check your cat’s vaccination history. This is done either in person if you wish to view the cattery before booking or by photo or scan emailed to us. If a course of vaccination has just been started the two injections must have been completed up to 4 weeks (depending on brand of vaccine used) before the start of the stay. We are particular about ensuring vaccinations are up to date, for your cat’s welfare as well as that of other cats staying in the cattery and also to comply with our licence conditions. Vaccination certificates should also be brought in with your cat to be kept on the premises during their stay.

We request, unless already on a regular defleaing programme from the vet, that cats be deflead with a PRESCRIPTION deflear a minimum of 2 days before coming to stay in the cattery (this gives the treatment time to work). Unfortunately we have discovered that cats often carry fleas without showing any signs of it, and increasingly even after being treated with an ‘off the shelf’ product. As indoor cats can get fleas too due to owners bringing eggs into the home on footwear they should also be treated.

If you do not use a prescription treatment and your cat is discovered to be carrying fleas when they are with us please be aware that legislation has now changed and for us to be able to get a prescription deflear for them it would now require us to take your cat to the vets for a full consultation (previously we would have been able to just contact your vets to arrange collection of product). This also would unfortunately result in a large unexpected addition to your bill (the total cost of us taking your cat to the vet, the consultation fee, the cost of the treatment prescribed and a fee for the extra chemicals needed for us treating the pen once they have gone home).

We highly recommend cats are dewormed also.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate adult un-neutered male cats over the age of 6 months.
